Alice’s Adventure on Earth: Travel Tips and Sustainable Tourism

There are places in this world that a map alone can’t prepare you for — peaks you have to stand on, coastlines you have to smell, trails that feel completely different under your boots than they do on a screen. Alice’s Adventures on Earth was built for exactly that kind of traveler. Since 2013, this site has been a home for people who want to go somewhere that actually means something, backed by travel advice you can trust and travel inspiration drawn straight from the field.

Alice Ford is a professional stuntwoman, athlete, conservationist, and explorer who has traveled through much of Asia, trekked to World Heritage Sites, hiked deep into National Parks, and documented it all through award-winning travel videos. She started this platform not to curate a fantasy, but to share what she genuinely knows, including the mistakes that made the lessons worth learning.

Real travel advice for every kind of adventure

What sets this site apart from the usual travel content is depth. Every destination guide, hiking resource, and practical tip comes from first-hand experience, not from press releases or recycled listicles. You’ll find detailed breakdowns for destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the American West, alongside the honest logistics that most travel sites skip over.

The travel tips here cover a broad range — from solo travel safety and packing for multi-week treks, to navigating national park permit systems and choosing between guided tours and independent itineraries. If you’ve ever stared at a booking page wondering whether a trip is actually worth the cost, this site tries to answer that question before you get there.

Trip ideas that go beyond the obvious

Scroll through the destinations section, and you’ll quickly notice that Alice’s Adventures on Earth doesn’t traffic heavily in the same recycled trip ideas. Yes, you’ll find guides to popular national parks and well-known European cities, but you’ll also find guides to places like Belize, the UAE, and Southeast Asia written with the same level of care. The focus is always on experiences that connect you to a place rather than just pass through it.
