Meet Alice

Filmmaker. Host. Explorer. Stuntwoman. Conservationist.

My story

I’m Alice Ford — an award-winning adventure filmmaker, travel host, stuntwoman and sustainability expert. I grew up in the woods of New Hampshire with a love for nature, animals and adventure, starting with the White Mountains and thick forests right outside my front door.

My father was a hippie at heart: a ski-patrolman in Colorado, a river guide in the Grand Canyon and a backpacker all over the world before he had a family. He shared that love with my sister and me as soon as we arrived — cross-country drives through Yellowstone, skiing in Salt Lake City, climbing the stairs of Chichén Itzá.

Sport got me into college; a master’s in Environmental Management followed. I’ve been a gymnastics coach, a bar owner, a VIP host at Atlantis and, since 2011, a stuntwoman. But my one dream was always my own travel show — to bring the wild right into your living room. In 2024, it happened on PBS.

This site is dedicated to inspiring you to travel deeper, find meaning and relish true experiences with nature — and to showing that protecting our planet is easier than you think.
