Portofino Beach Resort in Ambergris Caye, Belize is located 8 miles north of Ambergris Caye town site on the Caribbean sea.  It’s accessible by boat or golf cart (and both are pretty fun)! This small, boutique resort hotel has several casitas for guests, an onsite restaurant for dining, a private beach, outdoor hammocks, and a dock for swimming, snorkeling, or boating.

This resort was exactly what I was looking for on my last trip to Ambergris Caye. Intimate with plenty of amenities and a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere, I picked the right place to enjoy my stay for diving Ambergris Caye and exploring the Blue Hole. But it also put me close to many of the activities I wanted to try, shops I was excited to visit, and restaurants serving up delicious Caribbean, Belizean, and international fare.

In this video, I’ll show you what the Portofino resort was like and give you a virtual tour of the place so you can decide if it’s the right resort for your next trip to Belize. I think you’re going to love it as much as I did!

While I’m sharing all the details about this incredible resort, I may include affiliate links in the post. If you decide to click and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no cost to you. I appreciate your support so much!
